Our Story

Campbell Counseling Group is a private practice made up of four dedicated counselors who each offer different gifts and abilities to help meet the therapeutic needs of all ages in the community. Individual, Couples, Group and Play Therapy are offered by these licensed professionals at a reasonable cost.

They strive to offer hope to the hurting, recovery for those struggling, as well as growth and change for those seeking to improve their lives. While they see Biblical principles as an important tool to help their clients, they see people of all backgrounds, both religious and non-religious belief systems. Gary Cochran, MA LPC-S

Gary is a licensed psychotherapist serving in a variety of contexts and populations. He has earned two Masters Degrees, one in Biblical Studies from Abilene Christian University and another in Clinical Psychology from Sam Houston State University.

Heather Resneder, MA LMFT-S

Heather Resneder is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and a Supervisor in the field. She completed her Masters Degree in Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy at Phillips Graduate Institute in Encino, California.

Kristina Stephens, MA LPC, RPT

Kristina is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Registered Play Therapist. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education with an early childhood endorsement from Abilene Christian University and dual Master of Arts...

Lauren Smith, MA LPC-S

Lauren D. Smith is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Board Certified Supervisor in the state of Texas. She holds a Bachelors of Business Administration in Marketing from Texas A&M University and a Masters in Biblical Counseling from Dallas Theological Seminary.
