Heather Resneder, MA LMFT-S
Heather Resneder is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and a Supervisor in the field. She completed her Masters Degree in Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy at Phillips Graduate Institute in Encino, California. Her undergraduate work was focused in Psychology and Child Development at California State University, Northridge.
Heather provides therapy for marriages, relationships, parents, young children, teens and individuals. Her practice focuses on developing skills to navigate situations that cause turmoil in relationships. These relationship dynamics may look like Depression, Anxiety, Grief, Anger, Panic Attacks, Behavior Management, Communication or Family Conflict. Therapy is an interactive experience that she can customize whether you need a sounding board or more direction.
She has a wealth of experience working with children and families for more than 20 years. She has taught preschool, directed summer camps, worked with special needs children, and was part of the team that created the first Day Treatment program in California, serving children under 9 years old. .She has written curriculum for social skills groups, been a part of various discussion panels, co-hosted a radio show and currently has a podcast for other supervisors.
She is her husband’s, best friend, and girlfriend and together they have 3 children. Although she was born in California, she loves living in Texas. She enjoys camping, hiking, paddle boarding, travel, reading and learning.
