Lauren Smith, MA LPC-S
Lauren D. Smith is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Board Certified Supervisor in the state of Texas. She holds a Masters Degree in Counseling from Dallas Theological Seminary as well as a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from Texas A&M University. Lauren has over 12 years of experience in private practice seeing a variety of clients. Her background working at Kanakuk Kamps and in full-time ministry at various churches helped her hone her skills with adolescents and families. She uses an integrative approach to counseling recognizing the importance of psychology, specifically Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Biblical principles being used in the counseling relationship to help her clients meet their treatment goals. She sees clients from age 13 and older in individual settings as well as couples who are working through relationship issues.
